Sweet chili and chicken pita quesadilla

What a crazy surprise when I replaced my flour shell taco for pita bread.

Not only did it taste better it also buffed up the flavor.. there might be 1000’s of possibilities for this amazing creation..

1 chicken breast sliced

1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

1/2 yellow bell pepper sliced

1/2 red bell pepper sliced

1/2 green bell pepper

1 thin slice of yellow onion

1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

Start by  fully cooking chicken, then add sweet chili sauce (found at local Chinese market) add peppers and mix.. do not over cook vegetables. In a separate pan add 1 pita and half the cheese ( cook on low not to burn pita). After cheese starts to melt add chicken mix (spread evenly) then add rest of cheese and 2nd pita..cover with lid to help melt cheese.. Once cheese is partially melted flip and finish cooking…

Cut in 4 and enjoy
